Good Morning Picture for Friday...

Champ Camp ended last night and our student ministry recreation leadership team did amazing all week long! Each night our 12 student team learned the games we were going to teach, lead each game time throughout the night for each grade, and had a lot of fun while doing it.  I am so proud of the group of students that helped all week long!

Primal Scream at Champ Camp...

This is my favorite picture for night one of Champ Camp.  During game time for grades 2nd - 4th this student kept yelling, "Lets GO!" over and over for his team.  I tried multiple times to get a still shot of him...but he was so passionate about winning the game that all I could get was a blurry picture.  Regardless, it is a pretty funny picture!

Good Morning Picture for Wednesday...

Here is an action shot of our youth team leading recreation at this week's Champ Camp at CBC.  The students in the green shirts were playing "blob tag" with the K - 1 rec group.  I am so proud of the group of 15 students that gave up their evening last night to lead a fun, safe, and exciting recreation time!

Summer Camp Rewind Video...

We played our summer camp rewind video this past Sunday at Weekend.  It was a big hit!  Many thanks to Dennis W. who spent much of camp with a video camera in his hands and then put in tons of hours since camp to give you this creation.........

Good Morning for Tuesday...

Here is a great shot of LaShonda S. enjoying a frozen squid from the Asian Market following last week's Two Buck Tuesday.  During the event teams were given $10 to finding one unique item.  During the game they had to buy something, barter for something, beg for something, and borrow something.  The team that had the best item following the game won all the items brought in.  A few of the items brought back were a zebra patterned futon, a gumball machine, a set of left handed golf clubs, a dead snake, and a parakeet......and not one but two dead squids!

Yes dear friends I have returned from the abyss! After a great week of CBC summer camp in Orange Beach I spoke at the Life Community Church (of Nolansville, Tennessee) summer camp in Gulf Shores.  This weekend I held off blogging to have some much needed catch up time with my family. 

BUT NOW I AM BACK! Ready for a huge week starting with Two Buck Tuesday tonight, the July Road Trip on Friday, and the return of Converge Weekend Worship on Sunday! 

I hope you are looking forward to these special, summer only, events!
