Converge Movies - The Great 8 of 2008...

What a wonderful year for movies.  No matter your preference drama, action, comedy, adventure, teenage vampires...there was something for you to watch and enjoy.

Number 8 - Valkyrie

 

Number 7 - Cloverfield

 

Number 6 - the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

 

Number 5 - Juno

(technically this movie was released on 12/25/2007...but hey who's counting?)

 

Number 4 - Iron Man

 

Number 3 - Seven Pounds

(My good friend, and faithful blog reader, Chad McClurg and I saw this last night and though I loved it...Chad helped me temper my enthusiasm a bit to see that this was NOT my number one film of the year.  Thanks Chad, you are my constant!)

Went to see a movie

                                                               

Jaime and I got to go out and see a movie tonight. We had decided this morning that we would go see "Fireproof", but about 30ft from the ticket window they put up the sold out sign and we had to make that big decision whether to see the 9:00 showing or just pick out some other movie. Picking out another movie is what we did. "Miracle at St. Anna" was that movie, and let me tell you, WOW!!!!! It was a little graphic and some swearing, but what do you expect from a Spike Lee movie. I would love to tell you the whole story and ruin the ending, but if your 18 or over you need to go see it for your self. All I will say is that you will be a little speechless at the end. I would actually rate this movie with 3 1\2 thumbs up would be a five if there wasn't so much bad language and a few other things.  Thats all for tonight. Have a great day at church on both campuses.
