Demo Day...

Today the staff of Community Bible were "invited" to help tear down the wall at the back of the worship stage.  And by invited I mean we needed to arrive dressed and ready for manual labor this morning.  Our goal was to clear a wall at the back of the stage effectively doubling our space on the platform.  It is going to make the worship area larger and more dramatic for Sundays at CBC.  My job, when I wasn't breaking ladders, was to sweep and clear out drywall...which is what I am best suited for when it comes to construction or destruction.  Here's some shots of the work in progress...to see the final product you will need to be at Community Bible this Sunday morning at 9:30 or 10:45 AM (trust me our music, teaching, and people make it worth coming out).

Here is Small Group Pastor Mark Kincannon working the saw up on the ladder.  Just above him is William McCormick our building supervisor (and 7th Grade Boys Small Group Leader on our Youth Staff) helping breaking down the top of the wall.

Here is our pastor Ed Saucier leading (or dismantling) by example.  He showed up last but worked very hard.

Demo Day 2

Mark Kincannon tearing out drywall with the help of our Worship Pastor Donnie Todd (who outside of Will McCormick has put in the most time and energy on the project).
