when blacksmithing, it is good to avoid touching the hot part of the metal. it may leave one's hands blistered; not the kind of blisters that make you feel like you've done a hard day's work.
Camp has been a great experience so far. We wrap up tonight and return to God's country tomorrow! I cannot wait for you to hear about the good, bad, and ugly from camp.
After dinner tonight we will baptize five teenagers. I don't know if we can have any better way to wrap up our 2009 camp experience!

Last night we headed to the Wharf at Orange Beach to eat dinner. A few students sat a few tables down so I had the waitress deliver them a Shirley Temple (aka a cherry sprite) in a martini glass. The server even accented it with salt on the glass rim. When the drink was delivered Colin's eyes about popped out of his head as he thought a beautiful woman had ordered him an adult beverage. It was a very funny moment!
